This handwritten letter from Gale Carr to his wife, Florence, details the new clothes he bought and the importance of keeping up with his appearance for his job. He also discusses the possibility of renting a house near the railroad for the family. The health of the cattle on the Shelby County Penal Farm is mentioned briefly.
