Description

This handwritten receipt is for two door locks and an unidentifiable household item purchased by John P. Darden in August and September, 1865 from J. B. Clanton at a cost of eight dollars. The payment was received on July 11, 1865 by J. B. Clanton. A large portion of the lower left corner of the paper is ripped off in a square.
