This color postcard features a hotel with two four story sections with a one story section between them. The roofline of the center section is lined with a white rail. Horse drawn wagons are parked in front. The title in the upper left reads "Cowan Hotel, Greenville, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Greenville, Mississippi, February 11, 1908. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Leah Cassell in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Leah, Here's where we are all O. K. Going to the plantation tomorrow. Pop. [sic]
