This black and white picture postcard features a large three story building with three story tall columns across the front entrance. A sidewalk leads up to the building from the street. Trees are in the area around and in front of the building. The title in the lower left reads "Chickasaw College, Pontotoc, Miss." Publisher information is in the lower right of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The postage stamp has been removed from the indicated space, leaving slight damage. The card is postmarked New Albany, Mississippi, May 8, 1910. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. Ethyl Cole in New Albany, Mississippi.
My dear friend, I know you think I'm a long time letting you know just where I am I'm still with Lavella Severing [?]. Don't know when I will be in N. A. will let you know later. Write me your plans. Hope you will not leave before I see you. Don't fail to write me at once. Lots of Love. B.S. [sic]
