This black and white postcard features a large three story building with four white columns along the front entrance. Sidewalks lead up to and beside the building and people are depicted as walking the sidewalks. The publisher's name is located in the upper left corner and the title along the top of the card identifies the building as "New Dormitory and Dining Hall, University of Mississippi, Oxford, Miss., Bldg. 188 x 192; Rooms, 103; Dining Hall Seating capacity, 410. Published by R. R. Childon and Co., Oxford, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The postage stamp appears to have been removed and there is only a faint outline of a postmark. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Annie Cozby in Rogersville, Missouri.
