Description

This color postcard features a long, split level, red brick building with a U. S. Flag flies on a flagpole in front of the building and a U. S. O. sign is on a corner of the building. The title along the top reads "U. S. O. Club, Hattiesburg, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher and creator information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The description in the upper left corner reads "Federal recreation building, constructed by the government and operated by the United Service Organization, Inc. Operating agency: Y.M.C.A."
