This black and white postcard features a bird's eye view of rooftops and streets from Hotel Hattiesburg, MS looking south from Hotel Hattiesburg. The title along the bottom reads "Birdseye View looking South from roof of Hotel Hattiesburg, Hattiesburg, Miss. An inscription is handwritten at both the top and bottom of the card and a Macon, Georgia postmark is faintly visible near the bottom of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides photographer information. A green one cent stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Miss. March. The card is addressed to Master Charlie Park in Macon, Georgia.
[Written at the bottom of the card.] 3/6/1907 Am installed in my new place and beginning to be reconciled to leave Macon. Write me. [Written at the top of the card.] How are you? I hope you are well by now. [?] misses all you dear little folks sadly. You must not forget her. And come over to Hattiesburg to see me. Best love for you all--Nores
