This postcard features a color illustration of Main Street in Hattiesburg, Mississippi looking north. Buildings of various sizes and styles line both sides of the street and cars are parked in front of the buildings. People are seen on the sidewalk on either side of the street. The title of the card is printed in the top center of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. Clifton Hutchins in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Miss., October 12, 1934 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
