This postcard features a color illustration of Leaf Hotel in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, a white, four story building with arched windows, a second story balcony, five columns at the front entrance and a red roof. The Leaf Hotel sign is depicted above the second floor balcony. Mid-twentieth century cars are depicted as being parked on the street beside the hotel. The title of the card is printed in the upper right of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. Mrlva Bowman in Dayton Ohio. The card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Miss., November 17, 1945 and a green, one cent "Freedom of Speech and Religion" postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
