This color postcard features three images of buildings at the Mississippi Southern College. The top image is of the two story Joe Cook Memorial Library. The middle image is of the pergolas and flowers in the Sunken Garden. The bottom image is of the the two story brown brick auditorium. The title along the top of the card reads "Mississippi Southern College, Hattiesburg, Miss.--35" The back of the postcard identfies the item as a postcard and provides publisher and creator information. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Portland, Oregon, December 21, 1948. The card is inscribed and is addressed to L. H. Peevey in Cresswell, Oregon. An address label for Mrs. Paul J. Watts in Portland, Oregon, is placed sideways in the lower left corner.
