Description

This color postcard features a view of the Mississippi River running through a break in the levee with people seated on the banks of each side of the levee. Houses are also seen on the levee. Trees are in the distance. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp and the card is postmarked Natchez, Mississippi February 11, 1905. The card is inscribed and is addressed to E. W. Novak in Chicago, Illinois.
