Description

This color postcard features three images from Magnolia, Mississippi. The top image features a park fountain with buildings and trees in the back ground, (lighted fountain in Railroad Park, the bottom left image features a white building with iron railing and a sign for antiques on the facade (Tex Kounovsky's Antique Shop housed at the Victoria Hotel), and the bottom right image features a white two story home with a turret on the right corner (the old Lucius Lampton home on East Laurel Street). The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information and indication for postage stamp placement. The description on the left side of the card describes the front images as "Fountain Antiques Old Home Lighted fountain in the Railroad Park, downtown Magnolia, Mississippi. "Tex" Kounovsky's Antique Shop, downtown Magnolia, Mississippi. Housed in one of the oldest buildings in Magnolia. The Lucius Lampton home, a beautiful example of Victorian architecture, with gingerbread trim, circa 1885; corner East Laurel Street and Railroad Avenue, Magnolia, Mississippi.
