Lenoir in Monroe County, Mississippi, regarding his medical practice, the health of people in his area, aging, and people's dissatisfaction with President Buchanan's appointment of Robert J. Walker as governor of Kansas. Smith refers to his state as the Democracy of Georgia. 1857.
