Transcript

Dear Folks

Sorry I did not get to see you before I left. Time seem so short when I had to leave. I am in the army just twenty sever miles north of Jackson. A new camp to train skilled men in a hurry to keep [?] It is going to be tough but I guess can take it. Army life is different than civilian life especially when you thing of those old boys.
