Mississippi Extension Agent Tom Brooks aided by Assistant County Agent Miles Chafee checking green weight and preparing reports for the County Agent on the demonstration conducted by Mr. Brooks to determine the value of triple superphosphate. 100 pounds of triple superphosphate per acre gave an increase in weight of nearly 440%. The soil was classed as Savannah. Mr. Brooks conducted a similar demonstration last year which was his first attempt at growing cover crops.
