Description
The black and white image is a reproduction of a photograph taken by Alexander Gardner in Washington, D.C. on 15 November 1863. It features a portrait of Abraham Lincoln dressed in a suit and tie and has been reproduced on off-white paper. The image was found in a brown wooden frame, but was removed due to the frame damaging the object. (Tears appear where nails were affixed to the frame to seal in the object.)
