Description
The black and white photograph depicts an image of a standing sculpture of Abraham Lincoln, which is located at Lincoln Square in Manchester, England. The sculpture was intended for display outside the Houses of Parliament, but Lincoln's likeness was deemed controversial. Instead, the sculpture was installed in Manchester and a more statesmanlike sculpture was created for Parliament.
