Description

The chromolithograph features a color image of five men dressed in Confederate uniforms. Two of the men sit on horseback, while the remaining three stand. In the background, natural vegetation as well as a Confederate fort are pictured. At the top of the fort's wall, a Confederate soldier is pictured standing next to a Confederate flag. At the image's top, three coins are shown that depict the following three men: Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson, Robert E. Lee, and Joseph E. Johnston. To the coin's left, the first national flag of the Confederate States of America with 13 stars is shown. To the right, the Lone Star Flag of Texas is pictured. The image appears to have been removed from an unidentified bound volume.
