Description

The black and white engraving features an scene from the Battle of Wilson's Creek. Several men are shown fighting on a crowded, smoky battle field. A horse, carrying a rider, stands prominently in the center. The image is printed on off-white paper with black ink. It appears to have been taken from a copy of John S. C. Abbott's The History of the Civil War in America.
