Description
The medal's obverse design depicts the right-side profile of George Washington, the first President of the United States. On the medal's reverse, an American bald eagle is depicted with wings spread. Behind it stands the Washington Monument, located in Washington, D.C. Thirteen stars form an arch above the eagle.
