Description

The medal's obverse design depicts the right-side profile of William Cullen Bryant, an American romantic poet and longtime editor of the New York Evening Post. On the reverse, a woman is pictured seated and looking at the sun rise/set. In her lap, she holds an open books. Flowers are also pictured at the woman's feet.
