Abraham Lincoln is depicted on the right side of the page. Abraham Lincoln is depicted holding several papers and a feather quill. In the upper right side of the image, there is a partially obscured sign which indicates that image refers to the post office in New Salem. In background of the image, there are renderings of customers looking at items for sale. There is also a depiction of a gentlemen reading a newspaper.
