Description

In the work, President Abraham Lincoln is depicted seated in a rocking chair reading a book to his son, Tad. Tad appears over Lincoln's proper-left shoulder as Lincoln supports a book in his hands on top of a crossed lap. Fall foliage appears in the print's upper-right and lower-left corners. The front facade of a white building is pictured in the print's background.
