The Christmas ornament honors the White House architect, James Hoban. The ornament depicts both the North and South views of the White House and is made from the same sandstone from the Virginia quarry from which the White House stones were sourced. At the ornament's top, a red, white, and blue ribbon is attached for hanging. A gold brass banner is attached to the bottom.
