Description
The poster is a promotional item advertising the Rhode Island College Department of History's forty-eighth symposium series entitled Rhode Island in the Civil War. At the poster's top, three black and white images appear of 19th century photographs taken of various Civil War soldiers. Below the title information, a description of the symposium and a list of panel discussions are listed. On the left of this information, a portion of the American flag is shown; at the right, a portion of the Confederate flag is shown. Frank J. Williams is noted as one of the panel discussion participants.
