Description
The poster is a promotional item advertising an event sponsored by the Illinois State Society of Washington, DC in commemoration of the one hundred fiftieth anniversary of President Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address. Below the poster's title information, a color illustration of the United States Capitol on the day of the inauguration appears. The illustration was originally printed in the 4 March 1865 edition of Harper's Weekly.
