Facsimile of a plea and notice written by Abraham Lincoln in Mitchell & Mitchell v. Mitchell (Shelby County, 1852). A part of a facsimile set, The Lincoln Legal Papers: A Documentary History of the Law Practice of Abraham Lincoln, 1836-1861. A reproduction document written by Abraham Lincoln for a case entitled Mitchell & Mitchell v. Mitchell. The document includes copies of three Abraham Lincoln signatures. The cases occurred in Shelby County, Illinois in 1852.
