Description

The song sheet features highly critical verses of Abraham Lincoln. In the work, Lincoln's secret passage through Baltimore en route to his 1861 inauguration is referenced. The broadside also features an illustration popularly used in runaway slave advertisements, possibly hinting at the threat Lincoln posed to slavery.
