Description

The pink-hued cabinet card features a photograph of an illustration (possibly an engraving or lithograph) of Abraham Lincoln's funeral car in New York, 26 April 1865. In the image, the car is adorned with ostrich plumes, bunting, and flags. Sixteen horses are shown pulling the car and various soldiers march alongside the procession.
