Description
The canvas banner features the phrase "We're coming! Father Abraham." The phrase is probably a reference to the poem "We Are Coming, Father Abra'am" written by James S. Gibbons in response to Abraham Lincoln's 1 July 1862 call for volunteers to fight for the Union cause in the American Civil War. The banner is mounted inside a brown frame behind glass.
