Description
The object includes a book illustration and accompanying text that have been removed from an unknown book (possibly a 19th century book regarding President Ulysses S. Grant's presidential administration). The illustration is an engraved portrait of Caleb Cusing, United States Ambassador to Spain during the Grant presidential administration, and the text is a short biography of his life and career. Both are printed on white paper and black ink.
