Description

The print is an illustration from the book The Life Stories of Famous Americans. It depicts a scene from the Battle of Fort Sumter, the site of the first shots of the Civil War. The image is printed in black ink on off-white paper. It appears to have been removed from a bound volume. The item's verso contains an excerpt from page 76 of the book.
