Description

The object includes a book illustration and accompanying text that have been removed from an unknown book (possibly a 19th century book). The illustration is an engraved portrait of Winfield Scott Hancock, a career U.S. Army officer and the Democratic nominee for President of the United States in 1880, and the text is a short biography of his life and career. Both are printed on white paper and black ink.
