Description

The stereograph contains a black and white image of a mining camp at the base of the Chilkoot Pass, which is located between the state of Alaska (United States) and British Columbia (Canada). In the distance, a line of men can be seen climbing the Golden Stair, a nickname for the steep incline leading to the Pass. The image is adhered to a peach-colored paper card mount.
