Description
The stereograph features a black and white image of the Blue Room, located at the White House in Washington, D. C. The finishes depicted in the room would have been in use during Ulysses S. Grant's administration. The room features a painted ceiling. The walls are adorned with drapes, a mirror, and moldings. A globe chandelier hangs from the center of the ceiling. Various pieces of furniture-chairs and sofas-furnish the room. The image is mounted on a yellow card with rounded corners.
