Description

The CDV features photograph of a print depicting a portrait of William Sprague IV, the 27th Governor of Rhode Island. Sprague participated in the First Battle of Bull Run while he was a sitting governor. In the portrait, Sprague poses in his uniform. He hold his proper right hand at his waist and a document in his proper left hand.
