Description
The cartes-de-visite features a standing portrait of Abraham Lincoln. The portrait was taken immediately after Lincoln delivered his Cooper Union Address on the morning of 27 Februrary 1860. This photograph is sometimes referred to as the photograph that made Lincoln president (Ref: O-17).
