Description

The medal's obverse design depicts a portrait image of Robert E. Lee on the medal's right. On the left, soldiers armed with rifles are pictured. Two flags are shown in the background. On the reverse, Confederate and United States flags are pictured intersecting at the top of the medal. Several rifles appear behind the flags, and the image of an eagle is placed at the center of the intersection. At the medal's bottom, a decorative border lines the edge.
