The Lincoln Issues the Emancipation Proclamation coins are a part of a larger fifty-coin set, The Lincoln Coins & Stamps 1909-1958. In this subset, five Lincoln Cents are displayed in a paper card mount. The dates include 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, and 1943. The subset also includes an October 20, 1940 stamp commemorating the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Constitutional Amendment abolishing slavery, which features an image of a statue of Abraham Lincoln and a kneeling slave. The paper card mount's recto also contains biographical information about the Emancipation Proclamation as well as a color illustration of Lincoln Issues the Emancipation Proclamation. The biographical information continues on the card's verso along with excerpts from the Emancipation Proclamation. The paper mount is encased in a plastic sleeve that is enclosed in a coin holder binder.
