Description

The medal is a souvenir piece in honor of Admiral George Dewey, best known for his victory at the Battle of Manila Bay during the Spanish-American War. The medal's design is bronze in color and consists of a Maltese cross. Attached to the medal is a ribbon featuring stripes in hues of red, white, and blue. At the top of the ribbon, a decorative bronze pin is attached. A small, round sticker inscribed with the number 62 was found with the object.
