The broadside contains a thirteen-verse song and chorus about General Philip Sheridan's defeat over General Jubal Early's Confederate Army at the Battle of Cedar Creek, Virginia. The battle took place on 19 October 1864. The broadside also features illustrations of American flags in the upper two corners as well as a red and blue border around the edge of the object.
