Description
This bill, dated May 24, 1862, is for two large white pine bred troughs for twenty dollars bought by Lieutenant H. P. Clinton for the United States from Peleg Clarkee, "All kinds of lumber, shingles, laths, and pilings: and manufacturer of sash, blinds, doors, moldings, turning, ornamental and plain sawing, and C.. at Steam Plaining Mill near Railroad Depot." The receipt includes calculations written in pencil for other bills incurred.
