Description
This handwritten invoice, dated May 1862, is for 3000 bushels of corn for sixty cents per bushel to total eighteen hundred dollars, twenty-four bushels turned over to a brick stone house in Fredericksburg. The invoice is damaged and unreadable toward the bottom. The total of the invoice is three thousand, nine-hundred and twenty dollars. The invoice is for the United States to Peleg Clarke.
