This handwritten letter, dated August 27, 1907, is written from Walter R. Benjamin to Hugh McLellan. In the letter, Benjamin offers McLellan a couple of items he thinks McLellan might like. The letter is written on "Walter R. Benjamin, Publisher of 'The Collector'" letterhead. There is a circular rust stain in the upper left corner over the words "Telephone, 4580 Mad. Square."
