This handwritten letter, dated January 20, 1958, is from Roger B. Taney to publishers, Kay and Brother thanking them for the copy of Brightly's Annual Digest that was sent to him. This letter was found tipped in between pages 64-65 of volume two of Abraham Lincoln : A History by John G. Nicolay and John Hay.
