This is a facsimile of a certificate or list of marriages performed by Reverend Jesse Head in 1808. The caption below the image explains that the list was lost for many years and wasn't found until 1886 "through the efforts of W. F. Booker, Clerk of Washington County, Kentucky." The list was scanned from volume one of Abraham Lincoln : A History by John G. Nicolay and John Hay.
