This is a black and white illustration of a map portraying the second part of areas in the region where the seven days' battles, a series of seven battles over seven days from June 25 to July 1, 1862, near Richmond, Virginia, during the American Civil War. The map portrays the rivers, terrain, and places where the battles occurred. "Region of the Seven Days' Fighting--Part II" is captioned below the illustration with the note "For Part I see page 432" beneath the caption. This illustration is from volume five of Abraham Lincoln : A History by John G. Nicolay and John Hay.
