Description

This black and white illustration is a map of operations at Drewry's Bluff in Chesterfield County, Virginia, as part of the Peninsula Campaign of the American Civil War Bermuda Hundred, first administrative division in the English colony of Virginia, and Deep Bottom, the colloquial name for an area of the James River in Henrico County, Virginia. The map indicates both Union and Confederate works and troops. The illustration is on pages 394-395 of volume eight of Abraham Lincoln : A History by John G. Nicolay and John Hay.
