Description
This legal document is a handwritten plea and notices, filed August 23, 1850, in the Ketchum et al. v. Tanner trespassing suit. Kenny Tanner pleads innocent of allowing his cattle to trespass onto the plaintiffs' grounds and crops. The plea and notes are signed by Lincoln and filed by the clerk, William Moore. Notes about the document are written in pencil below the filing information on the back of the document.
