Description

This black and white photograph of Carl Schurz shows him dressed in a dark, double breasted suit and dark tie with a white shirt. Schurz has a full beard and is wearing eyeglasses. The photograph is in and oval frame and is yellowed with age. The back of the photograph has Schurz's name written in pencil twice and osme notes about Schurz is written in pencil. The photographer, J. W. Black and Co., is identifed in large black lettering along with the Boston location. The edges of the back are yellowed.
